In the organization of OSCE, Ministry of the Interior, P.R.A. agency and Public Relations Business School from 30th June to 2nd July in Kaštel-Ečka hotel near Zrenjanin was organized first workshop for spokespersons and heads of regional Police in Vojvodina.

Seminar “Public relations enhance cooperation with the media and the local community” aimed to improve the quality of cooperation between local media and regional offices of Ministry of the Interior and was conceived as an interactive communication with the aim of solving practical problems. The lectures were attended by Police Chiefs and Spokespersons from the Police in Novi Sad, Subotica, Zrenjanin, Pancevo, Kikinda, Sombor and Sremska Mitrovica.

The seminar was opened by Edward Kabina, Head of the OSCE program Police in the Community, and Suzana Vasiljevic, Head of the Office for Media Cooperation of the Ministry of the Interior. The first topic was “Police and the Media”. In the second session, the participants in interacitve workshops with Regional and Local Media editors and Journalists from all seven areas of Vojvodina, analyzed current Ministry and Police Media Relations, the Journalists experiences, Police Chiefs and Spokespersons, and together they found solutions to improve cooperation.

On the third day of the seminar named “Performances in the media”, Police Spokespersons and Regional Police Chiefs had practical exercises in front of cameras. Lecturers on the seminar were Predrag Vujovic, P.R.A. agency President and Vladan Alimpijevic, P.R.A. Media director.
