In crowded Great hall of Sava Center, on 19th May 2010, awards ceremony of Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, Beogradski pobednik, was held.
Award, which is traditionally presented to the most successful companies and business people from the last year, was received so far by 143 companies, 11 entrepreneurs and 20 individuals. The gala event was attended by various representatives of economy, high officials of the Government of Republic of Serbia, the City Assembly, and diplomatic field, the Chamber system of Serbia, as well as media and public life representatives. Event was opened by Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs, Ivica Dačić. Host of the evening dr Milan Janković, Belgrade Chamber of Commerce president, congratulated all businessmen on their results, despite the fact that the previous year was difficult for all business endeavours.
The biggest public attention was drawn to presenting awards in Business personality of the year category, which was received by Draginja Đurić, Executive Board president of Banca Intesa. Business man of the year was named Miodrag Kostić, MK Group president.
First special award for life’s work was presented to Dragan Tomić, president of Simpo company from Vranje.
Beogradski pobednik for achieved results in business in the previous year was received by Rudarski basen Kolubara from Lazarevac (Mining basin Kolubara), Milšped, Polimark, Jugohemija, VIP mobile, Bambi Banat, Agency for flight control of Serbia and Montenegro, as well as Sava Petrović, owner of Petite Geneve company. Branch plaque for personal contribution and improvement in business activities in their filed, was received by Galenika, RTV Studio B and Ensemble of Serbian national dances and songs, Kolo. For this event, P.R.A. agency created, organized and actualized media relations. Belgrade Chamber of Commerce special newspaper edition, KOMBEG Info, is dedicated to the award Beogradski pobednik and was prepared for all guests and program’s participants in Sava Center.
