Wind, as an alternative energy source, was for two months the breaking media news. With well designed strategy and efficiently done PR activities, P.R.A. agency has managed the issue management public campaign on subject of wind energy and other alternative energy sources, and all of this in the name of its client – Institute for multidisciplinary research.

Final step of this two month public campaign was an expert conference named ”Wind to sails of Serbia” where experts from the Institute presented the results of two projects Study of energy potential of Serbia for using sun rays energy and wind and ”Atlas energetskog  potencijala vetra”. Presentation was organized to incite the use of renewable energy sources in Serbia as a means of ensuring the energy security of our country. The aim of this was to get the three ministries and potential investors interested in applicative researches in this field.

This amount of media attention wasn’t attracted by any other scientific gathering until now. There were a total of 28 media, and three ministries took part with their strongest teams: Petar Skundric, Minister of Mining and Energy; professor Dr Milos Nedeljkovic, Secretary of State, Ministry of Science and Technological Development of Republic of Serbia and assistants of Minister of Environmental Protection. The conference was attended by representatives of the professional public, University, embassies, international organizations, chambers of commerce and investors. The initiator of the whole action was Dr Miroslav Nikcevic, director of the Institute for multidisciplinary research, who had with his team set high standards for future similar projects of this and other scientific institutions.
