EU Info Center has organized on 11th May in Belgrade Dom omladine a celebration of Europe Day with many events for citizens named Europe Open.
All guests could visit booths associated with Culture, education and citizens activism festival, participate in interactive quiz about Europe, charge mobile devices as a part of project promotion of Stawberry tree – solar charger, and visit exhibiton of caricature and comics Serbia and EU. Most interesting part was a video cabin in which many visitors sent their message to Europe.
As a part of this event, activities for all ages were organized. Children drew and got awarded with different presents, but most smiles received entertainers, jonglers, clowns and Igor the Magician.
– These happy faces are our biggest award. Europe Open shows that face to face contact with citizens is always the best way to communicate, said Predrag Vujović, event organizator in EU Info Center. Highschoolers had debated with EU ambassador Vincent Degert and minister of education, science and technologic development Žarko Obradović. Seniors, who finished their computer course, received their diplomas. Event was closed with great Rambo Amadeus concert.
