Pupils of elementary schools in Belgrade have visited Set reciklaža factory as a part of EU Info Center campaign Be Eco-active.
Pupils from elementary school Sava Šumanović in Zemun were the first one who recycled old electronic devices and learned about recycle importance and saving the environment.
During five days of the campaign, pupils gathered old electronic devices and visited recycle center with their parents and teachers. Be Eco-active campaign was started in June, ecology month, by EU Info Center and EU Delegation in Serbia. Many activities were organized, such as cleaning of Ada Ciganlija, Organik fest and others, which promoted eco activism and environment protection. At the same time, there was organized online campaign on Twitter in which citizens sent their ideas for eco activities with hash tag #budiaktivan (#beactive). Two ideas, from winning three, were a visit to the recycle center, so EU Info Center decided to make it happen.
